The easiest way to add Google Search Console verification to your site is through the Yoast Site Connections settings. To get started
1. Sign in to WordPress
2. Go to Yoast SEO
3. Go to "Settings"
4. Go to "Site Connections."
5. Add your verification code under "Google". For example, if your snippet looks like this:
<meta name="google-site-verification" content="XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX" />
Add everything in between the quotes in the "content" Value (do not include quotes)
